Our story

San Julián is a Mexican restaurant on E 72nd Avenue in Commerce City.

The restaurant operates as Taqueria San Julian LLC and has built a steady following along the 72nd Avenue corridor. More than two thousand Google reviewers have rated the place, and the dining room stays busy through breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The storefront is hard to miss: a brown sign with San Julián in white lettering, black-trim arched windows, and hand-painted specials in the glass. Inside, brick archways, terracotta floors, and booth seating give the room a familiar neighborhood feel.

We are closed on Tuesdays. Every other day the doors open at 9 AM, with extended hours Wednesday through Saturday when the kitchen runs until 11 PM.

The pottery on the sign

Clay ollas are painted on the brown storefront sign, the kind of pot birria and caldos simmer in. We kept that shape as a small nod to what you see out on 72nd.
